Chorlton Scouts Easter Fair
Join Chorlton Scouts for their Easter Fair on Monday 6th April from 11am. There will be carnival games, meet the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo and food for sale. All donations will go towards the World Scout Jamboree. Hough End Scouts Activity Centre, Houghend Crescent, M21 7TL.
Parent’s Sip and Paint
Whalley Range Surestart are hosting a Sip and Art session for local parents on Friday 24th April from 1 – 2pm. Join in, meet other parents and share your Sure Start experiences. There are limited creche places available, please call the centre directly to book your creche and workshop places on 0161 245 7007.

Chorlton Good Neighbours are recruiting for a permanent full-time manager for their friendly neighbourhood service supporting older people in Chorlton.
Manager (Chief Executive) – Chorlton Good Neighbours; Location: Chorlton, Manchester
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum; Contract: Permanent, full time

Chorlton Good Neighbours is a small, well-loved neighbourhood charity with roots back to the late 1960s, working to reduce loneliness and support older people across Chorlton and adjacent neighbourhoods. Their work is local and practical: befriending, home visits, transport, weekly activities, monthly teas, intergenerational groups and occasional day trips are all delivered with warmth and care.
This is a practical, hands-on, delivery-focused leadership role: you will lead a neighbourhood organisation through planned transition, preserving the community culture that makes CGN trusted, while introducing proportionate systems and succession approaches that secure its future. You will also spend substantial time supporting and supervising volunteers and facilitating activities alongside strategic duties.
