Your Salford 100 In Photographs

Would you like to be involved in a photographic exhibition at Ordsall Hall to help celebrate the centenary of Salford’s city status in 2026? 

We are asking members of the community with a local history interest to help us  curate the show.  

All you need to do is:  

→ Pick your favourite photograph from Digital Salford from the last 100 years, so from 1926 onwards. 

→ Write your story about why you chose it in no more than 120 words → Email the photo reference number along with your story to exhibitions@scll.co.uk → Make sure you include your name for your credit 

The deadline for sending your selection is 30 April 2026.  

100 selections will be chosen to feature in the exhibition as prints at Ordsall Hall  opening on 14 June 2026. People’s stories will be on our website as part of the online version of the exhibition.
