Admin Support Manager - Part-Time
Post Newspapers are seeking a competent person to join the team to support in all areas of administration.
The role is initially on a part-time basis with the potential for hours to increase.
About Post Newspapers
Post Newspapers are monthly, community-led positive news publications which bring together all that is happening in local areas in a printed newspaper.
Established in February 2020, Post Newspapers currently publish six borough-wide newspapers across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, with additional publications in the pipeline over the next two years.
Post Newspapers operate under Drawing Board Productions Community Interest Company - a profit-for-purpose social enterprise.
About the Role
Post Newspapers are looking to build its team, particularly around day-to-day administrative operations. The role of Admin Support Manager will be to assist the Directors in the following main areas:
Management and organisation of emails
Basic bookkeeping, including invoicing and credit chasing
Basic updates to website
Management of weekly e-news mailout
Management of social media channels
Management of database
Compilation of information to assist with development and expansion
Training will be provided in all tasks.
Hours per week: approximately 10 hours per week (with scope to increase)
Salary: £13 per hour
Support Manager Requirements
Permission to work in the UK
Proficient in the English language
Strong organisational skills
Good communicator
Reliable
Works as part of a team
Knowledge of the Google Workspace and basic bookkeeping are an advantage, but full training will be provided for all tasks
Knowledge of the VCSE sector an advantage, but not essential
Additional Information
The role is on a part-time, remote working basis with days to be confirmed with the successful applicant. A laptop will be provided.
